Dudley – Edward P. Burzycki, age 84 of 17 Joshua Place, died Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge.

He leaves his wife of 62 years, Irene T. (Druzbicki) Burzycki of Dudley; a son, David Burzycki of Dudley; a daughter, Maryann Maciejewski and her husband Mark of Northborough; a sister, Lorraine Kocur of East Douglas; and a granddaughter, Tyler Burzycki of Dudley. He was predeceased by three brothers, Stanley Burzycki, Anthony Burzycki and John Burzycki; two sisters, Frances Stochaj and Josephine Gilmore.

He was born in Meriden, CT, son of the late Peter and Victoria (Poplawski) Burzycki and lived in Dudley most of his life. He was a World War II, United States Navy Veteran. He was formerly employed at the Bonaface Tool Company, and for many years at Waterhouse Company in Dudley. He loved woodworking, playing the harmonica and yodeling.
