Dudley - Gerald "Jerry" Roux, age 78, died Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at Sandalwood Care and Rehabilitation Center, Oxford.

He leaves a son, David Roux of Alaska; a step-daughter, Debra Morrow of Dudley; three granchildren; and a close friend, Randolph Rabideau of West Warren.

Jerry was born in Waterville, Maine, son of the late Ralph Roux and lived in California before moving to Dudley in 2008.  He was a United States Army veteran and served in Korea.  He was a retired truck driver.

There are no calling hours.  Funeral services and burial are private.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association, 10 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.  Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster, is directing arrangements.
