THOMPSON, CT -- Janet M. (MacDonald) Croteau, 80, died Tuesday, February 12 in Westview Nursing Care & Rehab. Dayville, CT. Her husband of 35 years, Gilbert Croteau died in 1992

She leaves two sons: Roger Croteau of Thompson, CT, Michael Croteau and his Wife Lisa of Thompson, CT. Two daughters: Patricia Croteau of San Francisco. Lisa Reardon and her  husband Marty  ,grandson, Lucas Reardon all of Woodstock.

She was born raised in Lewiston, ME, the daughter of the late Roger and Esther (Worthington) MacDonald. lived five years in Webster ,30 years in Thompson before moving to her daughters in Woodstock in 2004 . She worked  at  Commerce as a Customer Service Representative.

Janet  loved  ballroom dancing with her husband Gil and  enjoyed all his gardening efforts . Former member of Sacred Heart Church in Webster and she was an avid reader.

Memorial services will be held privately  in  Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley.  Burial of her ashes will follow in West Thompson Cemetery .www.bartelfuneralhome.com
