Joseph W. LaBuff, Sr., 70

WEBSTER – Joseph W. LaBuff, Sr., 70, of Whitcomb Street, died unexpectedly on Saturday, October 13, 2012, in his home.  He is survived by his wife of 7 years, Debra A. (Farrar) LaBuff of Webster; four sons, Joseph W. LaBuff Jr. and his wife Barbara of Oxford, Robert LaBuff of Georgia, Daniel LaBuff of Worcester, and Timothy LaBuff of Webster; a daughter, Michelle Lyons of Virginia; two brothers, Donald LaBuff and Roger LaBuff, both of Arizona; many grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.  He was predeceased by a sister, Sandra Harris of Oxford.  He was born in Worcester, the son of the late Stanley and Lorena (Gosselin) LaBuff, and lived in Southbridge, Georgia, and Oxford, before moving to Webster 5 years ago.

Mr. LaBuff was a truck driver for 42 years before retiring in 2001.  He loved riding his motorcycle and was a handyman who enjoyed repairing many things.  He will be remembered as always having a smile on his face, and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Calling hours are Tuesday, October 16, 2012, from 5-7 p.m. at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oxford.  A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the conclusion of calling hours.  Burial will be at a later date at Pine Grove Cemetery in Leicester.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Joseph W. LaBuff Sr. Memorial Fund, c/o Hometown Bank, 218 Main St., Webster, MA  01570.
