ASHBURNHAM – Laurence R. Ehrets, age 69, of 33 ½ South Main Street, died Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at Heywood Hospital in Gardner.

He leaves his wife of 43 years, Linda M. (Mackie) Ehrets of Ashburnham; two sons, Jason M. Ehrets of Worcester and Joshua A. Ehrets of Leominster; two grandsons, Madison L. Ehrets and Owen Ehrets; many sisters- and brothers-in-law.

He was born in Boston, son of the late Laurence M. and Dorcas E. (Hayes) Ehrets and lived in Leominster before moving to Ashburnham 32 years ago. He owned and operated a lighting business for many years. He was a member of the Gardner Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses.

There are no calling hours. Funeral services and burial will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Gardner Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses, 1055 West Street, Gardner, MA 01440. Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster is directing arrangements.
