Paul E. Reynolds, 84

Dudley - Paul E. Reynolds, 84, died Thursday, May 17, 2012 after a brief illness.

Paul was born in Dudley, MA, the son of the late George F. and Catherine (Dee) Reynolds. He graduated from St. Louis High School in Webster, and attended Clark University before serving in the Army during the Korean War. While in the service, Paul earned the Korean Service Medal with two battle stars, as well as the Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Medal.

Paul married Muriel Alice Leboeuf at Sacred Heart Church in Webster in November of 1957, and lived in Webster and Dudley all of his life. He was employed by the Massachusetts Electric Company (now National Grid) as a meter reader, substation operator, and associate engineer, retiring in 1989 after working for the company for 33 years. Paul was a proud member of the IBEW, and was active in the union during his tenure at Mass Electric.

At various points Paul was a team manager in Webster Little League, a lector at St. Anthony of Padua in Dudley, and served as an instructor for various adult literacy programs in Worcester County. In addition, he was a member of Power House Gym in Webster.

Paul is survived by his wife of 54 years, Muriel (Leboeuf) Reynolds, son Sean D. Reynolds and his wife Karen and three grandchildren, Alexandra, Catherine and Matthew Reynolds, all of White Plains NY.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 25 at 10 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 24 Dudley Hill Rd., Dudley. Family and friends can visit with Paul’s family at the church prior to the mass from 9 AM to 10 AM. Burial with military honors will follow at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery, Old Worcester Rd. Webster.
